This course will introduce students to the principles, concepts, and software applications used in the management of projects. Through project-based learning, students will understand how to use the framework of initiating, planning, executing, monitoring and controlling, and closing a project in authentic situations.

The goal of the Marshmallow challenge is to construct the tallest freestanding structure out of 20 sticks of spaghetti, one yard of tape, one yard of string, and one marshmallow.

BANNER PROJECTIn this scenario, students worked in a team to design and manufacture a set of banners and posters promoting championship playoffs for a high school sponsored sport for the upcoming school year. Teams had to take into account a variety of factors, such as scheduling, coordinating resources, researching vendors, and maintaining/updating a budget.
